Pixie Dust - Christmas time in Disneyland Paris

Christmas time has always been my favourite part of the year. Can you blame me? It comprises the greatest ingredients to a perfectly nice pair of weeks : diners with family, food - a hell of a lot of food -, bottles with an alcohol pourcentage label on them, chocolate, clementines (yes, as to myself I do not count it as food per say, it is all extra ++) and drama - a lot lot lot of drama !

However, it has now been two Christmases that I spent quite differently. I set aside my holidays as a chubster at my grandma's and decided to - or had not choice but to - wear my magnificent costume of cast member in Disneyland Paris. But that, I will talk about later on. I am writing this article today to present the most wonderful and magical of all seasons in the parc : Christmas with Mickey and his friends.

Obviously, if you were to decide to come and spend a few days in the park during the Christmas holidays, may it not be a surprise for you that you will have to face long queues every-fucking-where. Even more because of the big re-opening of Big Thunder Mountain aka the mine train aka "temporary interruption of service". Nevertheless, if you are seeking magic, you will be spoiled.

To be seen : a wonderful Christmas calvacade, the illumination of the Christmas tree on Main Street and an exclusive version of the Dreams show on the castle at night, in addition to the regular coach ballads of Anna and Elsa and the parade, which sprinkles "Magic Everywhere". My real cast members will know what I mean. Snow, and lights everywhere. It shines, it flashes, it sparkles. Weather is cold af but the air smells of hot chocolate and waffles. Sleeping Beauty's Castle plays hide-and-seek with the heavy fog but the decors are even more magical and of surreal appearance, as fragments of a dream.

So I am summing up the celebrations in pictures for you. Cause that's what I do. I take pictures of stuff.

Bonus: pictures of the park at a time no visitor is allowed to walk in. Lots of kisses.
